Brae Main Oil Line Transient Pigging Analysis
Client: Marathon Oil UK Ltd
117 km, 30” oil export line to Forties Charlie and onwards to the Forties Pipeline System. Provided support to Marathon’s pigging campaign to assess the level of contaminants within the system and further quantify the integrity of the system. Performed a transient analysis of the intended pigging operation to determine the expected water arrival at Forties Charlie based on recent export flowrates into the pipeline.
